Press Release ~ VICTORY!

The past six weeks have been an amazing experience connecting with the community. With the ongoing pandemic restrictions last year it was hard to connect directly with people in our community during the 2021 Penticton by-election. This year was different. I went door to door and called so many people in Penticton to talk about the issues they wanted the next city council to address. Public safety, housing, and job security were at the forefront and I believe my platform of bringing positive and vibrant policies resonated with people. I am honoured that Penticton has given me their vote of confidence to represent them on city council.

I am very optimistic about working with the other councilors elected for the next four years. We are all bringing so many experiences to the table and especially an objective to address public safety, housing affordability, and environment and economic sustainability. I congratulate Julius Bloomfield on being elected as mayor, James Miller, Campbell Watt, and Helena Konaz on their re-election, and Ameilia Boultbee and Ryan Graham on their first time being elected. I am excited and happy to be working with all. Thanks to everyone who I talked to at the doorstep and on the phone and everyone who got out there and voted!
